Wonderful (Adam Ant Album)
''Wonderful'' is the fifth solo studio album and the eighth LP overall of English musician Adam Ant, released in March 1995 by EMI Records, EMI. It peaked at number 24 on the UK Album Chart and number 143 on the US Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200 chart. The band for this album included Ant's long-time collaborator Marco Pirroni, along with ex-The Ruts, Ruts drummer Dave Ruffy and Morrissey's guitarist Boz Boorer. This album includes more acoustic songs than Ant's previous albums. This album repositioned Adam as a more mature pop-rocker, with crafted songs that featured acoustic guitars as prominently as electric ones. The album was a moderate hit in the USA and UK, as was the single "Wonderful" which became Ant's third American Top 40 hit single. This was the first Adam Ant album to be released in the USA before the UK. William Pearson (born July 27, 1938), known professionally as Bill Pearson, is an American novelist, publisher, editor, artist, comic book scripter and letterer, notable as the editor-publisher of his own graphic novel, graphic story publication, ''witzend''. Biography Early years Born in Belle Fourche, South Dakota, Pearson was employed in 1957 as a technical illustrator at the Ziff Davis publishing firm and began night classes at the School of Visual Arts, including an anatomy course taught by Burne Hogarth. Work as a technical illustrator for the Underwood Typewriter Company in 1959 was followed by two years as a mechanical draftsman at Motorola in Phoenix, Arizona. While serving in the military at Fort Polk in Louisiana during the early 1960s, he met artist Ed Paschke. Wonder Girls () was a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment. Seven Nations is a Celtic rock band that formed in New York City in 1993. The name comes from the seven Celtic nations, including Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Brittany, Cornwall, the Isle of Man, and Galicia. The band tours extensively and has played in many diverse venues, from small bars to concert halls. They were previously known as Clan Na Gael, but lost that name due to a trademark dispute. At just that time, they got a huge sponsor, allowing them expanded notoriety. Band history Seven Nations started to form in Middleburg High, located in Florida.
